I am a chaplain who works with people who have been abused. Many of my clients are also mentally ill. I am compassionate, too honest at times, joyful most of the time, definitely -------, and actually quite liberal despite being a chaplain. I do believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. I am an active member of a local body of Christ. I have many hobbies. I do a lot of reading. I really enjoy my small group and love to attend Bible studies. Beth Moore, Joyce Meyers and Kay Arthur are among my favorite teachers. I like to cook. I knit and crochet. Yes, I like to go camping, as long as I can bring along my airbed. I want to jump from an airplane at least once before I die. I also want to hike the entire Applachian Trail from Maine to Georgia. (I know my airbed will have to stay home on this trip.)

I have not had much success with relationships in the best, but God has been reshaping me into a totally new creation, more conformed to the image of His Son. I have been inspired to believe that God is now ready to give me the desires of my heart. I have been praying that God would also be preparing my future mate to meet me. I am confident that He is doing exactly that.

I am looking for a mate that believes that all good relationships are built on solid friendships. The man I am looking for will enjoy S-- but not put it first in the relationship. He will believe that it is a God ordained act meant to be enjoyed within the confines of marriage. He will be a little old-fashioned and treat me with the utmost of respect. He will be active in a local body of Christ and enjoy reading God's Word on a daily basis. He will not be afraid to start our date with prayer. He will have a good sense of humor and be secure with who he is in Christ. I have been praying that God will be blessing him and preparing him to meet me. I believe that God has been doing that.
