I do not remember exactly when I became a Christian except that it happened when I was young (four or 5)
God has been working in my life in many ways. He has taught me to view my C.P. as a challenge instead of an obstacle that I just have to endure. He has been there for me through numerous different trials, such as when my daddy shattered his wrist and developed MRSA, and when my sister made some very unwise choices. His always being there for me has helped shape me into who I am today.
I went to a Christian school in 7th and 8th grade. However, I have found that in a public school I have opportunities to witness about Christ that I might not have in a Christian school. I have joined the LITE Club (a Christian club that meets every Thursday at my high school). This has helped me to stay grounded in my Christian faith.
This summer God shaped my life in many ways. I was supposed to go to Australia with People-to-People Student Ambassador Programs but they wanted me to have an aide go with me, which would have cost another $3600.00, which we would not be able to afford. This gave me the opportunity to work with Arrowhead Bible Camp in Brackney Pa. This enriched my life spiritually in many different ways. Even working on the Service Staff I was an important part of God’s work. I felt I was able to affect lives of others the campers were developmentally disabled adults and my experience as a productive member of the staff served as a testimony that God uses us in many different ways.God uses those who have limitations for his honor and glory and with perseverance obstacles can become challenges to overcome
