A countryman to the heart , born and bred , now retired ,I came from a Christian /Anglican family and was brought up in that faith , I became more interested in the Christian way of life as i got older . attending church when ever i could do so , in 2025 I was elected to the town council and as a trustee representing them on the committee of the town;s chapel of St Lawrence ,this did so much to strengthen my understanding of my faith. Although i can be a little shy in new situations , I am a understanding , Honest and Considerate , affectionate , and gentle in nature , and compassionate ,loyal, clean and tidy ,although ( i do admit to roughing it )and fun loving .I do not drink or Smoke and i admit a little over weight , but in good health
I worked as a mobile technician in a water company until retirement in 2020 a job that was quite enjoyable as i travelled a lot ,,I then volunteered as a monitor to study our local rivers and the river environment ,undertaking training for this work, I was elected to the towns council in 2025 , taking up the post of chairman of the parks and estates committee that year ,as well as sitting on various other committee's
my interests are ,History, Walking, the Environment, Pets and Wildlife, architecture, music, cars ,motorcycles, vintage aircraft , Country Fairs/ Markets, Reading , Gardening , eating out , Photography , Target Shooting ,the arts, current affairs , Computing /IT , Visiting churches and historic buildings / Places .and television , being with friends & Family.
