Re-committed Lutheran Seeks Mentor/Friend/Possible Partner Despite being raised (and baptized) as a Christian by a Lutheran-raised mother, I spent most of my life as an agnostic. Then, I fell into a pit so deep and dark that God was the only one able to lift me out..and I recommitted myself to God in the church that he (literally) led me to in my darkest hour.
