Thanks for reading and looking forward to read fro This is difficult because so many variables are workable depending upon how they are handled. My preference would be to meet a good loving man and caring soul . A sense of humor is a must. Humor is an excellent survival technique, helping to take ourselves less seriously. Very important are Christian values, and active faith participation (or willingness to become more involved). It helps to have a sense of independence as well, with each person being able to have his or her own friends and activities, plus finding things in common to enjoy and share. Commitment is another value. We need to be able to rely upon each other, no matter what the circumstances. Helping a partner develop as a person is an important part of a relationship. What would really be helpful to me is to get to know someone who has mastered what realationship is all about . What's important ultimately is finding a person to "like" -- a true friend and companion. This is the ultimate state of love. These traits and values are seen gradually -- it doesn't happen overnight. Perhaps it may help to summarize all of this by saying that I'm seeking a modern-day man with traditional values.
