Jesus loves you and you can know Him God drew me to Himself from a young age. I've had many problems and issues to deal with in life, and it's really amazing how God has gotten me this far. I was adopted as a baby, and until recently, held a false concept of my identity of origin being "rejected and abandoned by my family"- but God showed me that my true identity is "chosen by God"- and so, I'm in the midst of a paradigm shift for the better. That's a key theme of my life- God continues to show me the root lies and problems underneath the other things that come up in my life- for example, having a very high level of anxiety (or fear, or anger, or pain, or whatever) arise in me regarding some specific situation, and, instead of just suppressing it or whatever my usual reaction would be, asking God, "Why did I react like that? What's really at the bottom of my thoughts and feeling about this situation, and how do I get rid of the wrong thinking and replace it with Your way?" If you're willing to sit quietly and ask, He will answer- often a memory will arise of the first time that I remember feeling that way, and why I took on that feeling or thought process, and I'll then ask Him to help me see the right way to think about it and to recognize the truth and replace the lie with it. Sometimes, I have unforgiveness toward someone and have to forgive them with His help, or sometimes I made an inner "vow"- like, "I'll never let (whatever it was) happen to me again!" Sometimes it was just some event that hurt me, and I took on a wrong thought pattern or feeling to deal with the pain or fear- the devil loves to give us his harmful solutions to the problems he created, like, "I'll just hate people like that, and then they won't be able to hurt me as much," etc. etc. Anyway, God is willing to interact with us and to help us, if we're willing to say, "Yes, Lord- show me what You want to, and help me to grow in You and get healed!" He has the answers to all our issues and problems.
