Jesus Is My Lord I am a Christian because I asked Him to come into my life. I know that perhaps that sounds too simplistic, but that really is all there is to becoming a Christian. Why I have chosen to remain a follower of Christ is a much more complex answer. He fulfills the desires of my heart. He has shown me great and mighty things. He has sheltered me under His wings. He has hidden me in the cleft of the rock. He has lifted me up when all that surrounded me was despair. He has promised Never to leave me nor forsake me, and to this date He has kept that promise. He was such a friend that He lay His life down for me. How could I do lessM
