CHANGED MAN I thank you for taking the time to view this ad,and you may find it to be a rather unusual one for the fact that I am coming to you from prison. A place that I have been for over a decade though it feels like a century. I must admit I was reluctant to have this ad placed. One reason for my reluctance is because of how stereotype people are about those who are in prison. Don't get me wrong you have every reason to be cautious. It's just that the very worst among prisoners have caused most of us to be looked at as all the same. This reduces my chances of making a positive connection with someone. I grew up in the streets of New Orleans and it was not a cake walk for me. Years ago my life was very destructive. It consisted of drugs and violence. The man I am today is totally opposite of the boy I was back then thanks be to almighty God! God has totally transformed my life. Even though I am incarcerated this experience has not been totally negative. The reason that I say this is because I have discovered while here in prison that I have a talent that I never recognized before. I have begun to design ladies clothing, shoes, jewelery, and assessories. My fasion line in called "Heart Drops." Everyone who has seen my work have said that I am very good at what I do. I have also written a book as well as two screenplays.
I desire the friendship of a woman who is courageous, exciting, and very ambitious. One who is not afraid to go after the best things in life. Someone who is willing to go on this journey with me.
I believe that every individual in society owes a debt to society. We owe it to one another to make a difference in each others lives. I have asked God to forgive me for my sins from the past and by faith I know that he has forgiven me. I hope when you read this ad that you donot judge me as a convict, but as a man of God.
