I am devoted to Christ and delight myself in the Lord (Psalm 37)! I think we all need to go back to a 1600s version of reading the Bible at our kitchen tables with our families and friends and take that knowledge to lead others to Christ and through this difficult, fallen world. This is because I have yet to find a church that hasn't gone at least partially the way of Antioch. We really all need to just read the Word, study it, live by it, teach kids to do the same, and deliver it. I'm definitely into the idea of home congregations and not those promoted by organized 501c3 churches. I'm more of the thinking, "Train a child up in the way he should go, and when he's old he won't depart from it". If you were a fan of Mark Taylor's message, we could have great conversations! Full disclosure, I have chronic migraines, so there are quite a few days where I'm staying home with that, but my good days are super good days. I like to get regular exercise. I'm not into gyms these days, but not totally opposed to them if I had the right partner. I like to go on walks and to eat organically. I'm into gardening too. I'm hoping to meet a man with a similar mindset and issues so that we can edify each other through all of that and find the joy that the the good Lord has blessed us all with.
