Childfree, Christian seeker I practiced Catholicism for most of my life but now consider myself a liberal Christian. I have been spending most of my Sundays at a Unitarian Universalist church. I still believe many of the same teachings as Catholics and still go to Catholic Mass sometimes. The Easter Vigil is still my favorite Mass. But I disagree with the Catholic Church on some of its dogma and could not find a Catholic young adult community where I fit in. As a Christian, my bigger goal is to follow Jesus' teachings rather than perfect my worshiping of Christ. It's easy to sing praises to Christ. Following Jesus' teachings is more difficult.
