So I like to eat I guess that's a good thing. On January 11th 2009 I surrendered full time into the ministry to preaching, teaching and overall sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ (AMEN!). I love waking up early in the morning and reading my bible on the porch with a fresh cup of coffee (Ah can't wait to do that in heaven). I feel I've been very blessed with a AWESOME church home that I'm proud to call my family and friends and a pastor that is wise beyond his years. This might sound stupid but I love to LOVE! For Christ said, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34. And I strive to be like Christ and I don't deserve His blessing and I'll admit I'm ashamed of my sins. I'm ashamed to be the reason He died for a wretch like me. Wow the awesome weight of Sin that he carried for us. Honestly I didn't intend on preaching, but that's something else I love doing.. Oh almost forgot. Music is a another HUGE part of my life. I enjoy playing anything that can make noise and anytime I can sit down with friends and sing and play praises to God's Holy name I will do it. Oh to make praises on the banjo is AWESOME. The psalms proclaim music as praises and joy to God. I know when I play I am pleasing the Father because I'm making a joyful noise unto Him. Haha I love playing guitar, mandolin, dobro, violin, bouzouki, piano, harmonica and bass as well as the banjo.
Importantly though, whomever she is, I want to have a relationship built on serving God. Praying together, worshiping together and studying God's word together. I don't want to do anything that will tempt my flesh into ----. Been there, done that and I want to please God and stay pure.
