Setup for a Comeback

Life is full of things that try to push us down. We all face disappointments and setbacks. Maybe you got some bad news concerning your health or maybe a relationship didnt work out. That was a setback. Its easy to get discouraged or lose your enthusiasm or even be tempted to just settle where you are. But if were going to see Gods best, we have to have a “bounce back mentality. That means when you get knocked down, you dont stay down. You get back up again. You have to know that every time adversity comes against you, its a setup for a comeback!

Remember, as a believer, the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives on the inside of you. There is no challenge too difficult, no obstacle too high, no sickness, no disappointment, no person, nothing that can keep you from your God-given destiny. If you stay in faith, then God will turn what was meant to be a stumbling block into a stepping stone, and youll move forward as a champion full of faith and victory!

Prayer

Father in heaven, thank You for setting me up for success in everything I do. I choose to trust and rely on You knowing that Your plans are for my good. I know my best days are ahead of me and look ahead to the blessings You have in store for me. In Jesus Name. Amen.

`I have learned that in allot of situations or times of adversity. That sometimes just stepping back and taking a look outside of yourself. You will sometimes find that what you see really is a blessing. Having been through an abusive relationship for instance. I have to think of what may have happened if the abuser didn't get help. what if it had been someone else that didn't have the coping skills that I did, or wasn't strong enough to get out? Among many other things. And when you use it as an opportunity to witness...
The possibilities are endless. I really beleive that god has a plan.

It is really easy to listen to Satan's message of "give it up", "everyone else is doing it," "you're just chasing rainbows again." I am so glad that this has reminded me to just hang in there a little longer.

`God is amazing isn't he? When he taught us how to pray,he opened a door for our entrance into a sacred place.I have heard this message from Bishop Jakes and it blesses me everytime.Gods word is truly a word for now.I am praying for you Sue and I hope your comeback happens quickly and soon.Right now I live in a place where my central unit has stopped working and I have 2 window units that are single room units.It has been so hot here in the afternoons(near 100) with such high humidity that it zaps your strength just going outside and for me it has been making me sick by the evening.I get nauseated by 5 everyday.I am hoping and praying that the guy doesn't charge so very much to come out and fix it today.I have a heart thing going on so I don't have alot of energy anyway.So one of my prayers is for Father to visit me in my dreams because I sleep alot.There is a lady I know that runs our post office,Mary,who's husband has brain cancer.They,doctors,were going to try a new treatment for him this week and I pray it takes because they said there was nothing else they could do if it didn't.Please pray for them....Let me give a little bit of testimony for the power of the spirit.My daughter was picking up some money from a store and the person waiting on her was trying to give her the same amount of money we had already picked up.My daughter told her that that amount was to much and what the correct amount was.We could have used that other money also but that would have been stealing and Jesus saved her from making such a bad choice and I praise him for it.We have been struggling financially lately because of an injury at work and the enemy was dangling that carrot in front of her to try to get her to steal so he could say see what she did but Jesus stopped him by aiding her.Isn't he wonderful.That was a test and she passed.PTL.GBU

`update:the central unit is fixed and it cost us less then what it could have ptl.Now to get the car updated lol but it is one thing at a time right?In God we trust.gbu

`Hi Southernfinery, I am so happy to hear about how the Lord is blessing you and your family. It is good to hear your testimonies. Keep the faith and hold on to Gods unchanging hand and he will see you through all that he has put before you to go through, You have to have a test in order to have a testimony, you have to go through some mess in order to have a message, so be encouraged and keep up the good work. Your heart belongs to God, give him your all!!
