He Who Finds A Wife Finds A GOOD Thing! Christ is the center of my life and the Hope for all I do. I am a Christian woman who is a minister by calling. I am anointed but not currently appointed. I enjoy traditional and modern predominantly African American churches. The old spiritual hymns and modern gospel both speak to me, as does the rhythm of the pulpit and the service. I pour out my heart to You, O Lord To You I empty my soul. I give to You my brokenness That You can make me whole. I stay up late and on my knees Longing to see Your face. I beg for Your forgiveness, for Your mercy and Your grace. I see Your majesty in the starry night above I ask You, Lord, to fill me with your peace and with Your love. I repent for all my sin Then I do You wrong again. Forgive me, Father. I long to give You all of the troubles in my life I read Your word, it comforts me In Your word I so delight. I bleed, I cry, I hurt inside But all of this You know. And yet You say "Come here, my child These trials are to help you grow." Give me all your burdens and your pains for me to bear I'll create in you a clean heart I'll wash away your troubles and your cares. I'll lift you up and comfort you in my everlasting arms I'll give the peace you're asking for and quiet every storm.
